The Miller Place High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble (2008-2009), was a short-lived, yet successfully entertaining jazz group, in Miller Place, New York. Now a defunct group, due to the senior's graduation, the group was led by Mary Jean Stead, and made up of mostly seniors, some juniors, and two sophomore at the time, they played numerous concerts and events at their high school, music festivals, and competitions. Participating in Music in the Parks, they earned much praise and respect, and discovered themselves what it means to be effective, friendly, fun, but also hardworking.
