1) Italian new wave artist. 2) Born in Detroit, MI His Real Name is Lawrence De'Shawn Wright, MIXO is the 3rd Generation of his family in the entertainment business, His Grandfather Larry Wright Sr. was a lead singer in a Doo Wop Group called the Volumes (Thier top 40 hit I Love You Landed them a Guest spot on American Bandstand), His Father Larry Wright Jr. A Music Producer & Event Promoter. And now MIXO a Hip Hop Artist, Music Producer & Event Promoter. Mixo started performing at age 12 in a Hip Hop Group he formed with his two brothers (Lance & Lonny) and a friend (Roni) called Public New Sence They Won Talent shows and performed all over the Detroit area. in High School he formed the Rap Group The AZTEX then came 7 Below and Rhyme Asylum a Hip Hop Collective that became very well known in the Hip Hop underground for Thier high energy Stage performances. MIXO took the untimely death of Detroit Hip Hop Artist PROOF (from the group D-12) Very Hard and he vowed to do his part to elevate the Detroit Hip Hop seen Back to a National Platform. Recently he has been seen in studios all over the Detroit area Producing tracks with Blue Raspberry (From The WU-TANG Clan) so look for something Hot to come out of that union.
