Migloko is an artist in the true sense of the word. Next to being an outstanding singer, she also composes, plays several instruments, is a videographer, actress, painter and does all sort of performances. Born and raised in Lithuania, she started to begin her professional career at the age of eighteen. Soon the word spread in the underground music scene, and her self named debut album 'Migloko' was released in 2010. The album was received enthusiastically by press and fans, some people calling it “the best Lithuanian female album”. A couple of years of intense touring followed, not only in her home country but also in big city's like; Moscow, New York, Chigago, Washington DC and Brussels. Her style is not easy to describe, there is influences from pop, swing, soul, funk, rock, electronic and avent garde music, all with a lot of blue notes. Migloko is a true beast on stage, improvisation comes natural to her, extravagant performances are the rule, and no show is the same. After taking a break from music to travel the world, Migloko moved to the Netherlands in September 2012. She stayed there to study in different University's and research new ways of composing. Now she is back with a brand new album, 'Power Egg', waiting to be released. She gathered a fresh international band around her, and is ready to reconquer the world with a lot of; Joy, Love and White Magic Power! “Her voice may sound childishly naive, but her lyrics are more redolent of early-stage schizophrenia.” -
