ME&ME was formed in the June of 2016 on a cozy little IRC channel called #homescreen, located on the Rizon network. This project originated as a plunderphonics artist, sampling the people in the aforementioned channel, most frequently a scrawny Chinese boy and a larger British boy. However, as the band grew in popularity, it evolved into an experimental bastion of art-music, ranging from metal covers to electronic production. Much later on in ME&ME's career, when he no longer associated himself with #homescreen, he returned to his roots of plunderphonic music.
