New York City born and bred, M A N I K is a producer that lives and breathes electronic music. With a discography less than one year old, his mature production style and ear for the dance-floor as well as after-hours, mark him out as a talent that is here to stay. Graduating from school with a degree in Music Business, he is not by any means your typical artist. M A N I K is quietly going about attracting more and more attention on himself and his home city of New York. Upcoming material in 2010 and 2011 will see him release on some of the best underground electronic labels. His debut 'Park To The Slope' EP was released on Josh Wink’s Ovum, and received a standing ovation from all quarters. That release was quickly followed by 3 track ep's on highly revered imprints Four:Twenty, Chicago’s very own Fresh Meat, and the new Squillace/Bacchetti, Hideout. His latest "McLovin' You EP" on L.A based Culprit, has been played by everyone and anyone, cutting up Beatport charts, further cementing his ability as a real musician, and making his case for one of 2010's Breakthrough Artist's. His highly anticipated 2nd EP release on Ovum is coming in December, and is followed by his debut Poker Flat release, which starts off his 2011!
