Mateus Rodrigues Guimarães (born in Rio Verde, February 9, 2010), known professionally as MAKER MOON, is a rapper who debuted with his EP "ÉPOCA MOON" in 2021, which contains the songs Famosin Na Escola and Arraial D'Ajuda. Famosin Na Escola was written by rapper Doc Thor, which was Mateus mother's fiancé in 2018, the year MAKER MOON moved to Arraial d'Ajuda, Bahia to live with his mother. The song was planned to release the same year, but ended up not releasing, and in 2020, Doc Thor separated from Mateus's mother, which led to the song being scrapped. In November 2021, however, Mateus and his brother Miguel, picked up the song and released it as one of the songs in his debut extended-play, "ÉPOCA MOON". In July 30, 2022, he released his single TikTok, which was accompanied by a music video. In 2023, due to personal issues, MAKER MOON moved back to Rio Verde, Goiás, and released his debut album LUA CHEIA in March 25, 2023. He has quit music since then.
