Artist
Old-School Electro Hip-hop. Released on Posse Records in 1984. The F.B.I. Crew were a Miami area breakdance crew who were cast in the film "Knights of the City" (aka "Cry of the City"). This was to be their theme song from the film, although their breakdancing scenes were cut from the movie. Joe Granda of the group went on to find fame as Nice & Wild, the act that produced the freestyle mega-hit "Diamond Girl". Amos Larkins III was recruited by Henry Stone's Sunnyview Records camp as a producer for local rap hits after this record made some waves locally. As a result, Amos went on to be the first producer in Miami to sustain the 808 kickdrum, founding the Miami Bass sound in 1985.
