Artist
M.A.L. is a solo project by Belgian guitarist Daniel Malempré, deploying intricately beautiful kosmiche guitar explorations, slowly churning drones and soundscapes intermeshing with one another as they rotate, expand and contract. According to some sources Malempré is the actual inventor of the techniques displayed on the influential album "Inventions For Electric Guitar" by Manuel Göttsching, which "Manuel reproduced a few months later". At the time there was enought of a rift between the two musicians that he named one of his compositions "Manuel Ist Unehrlich" which translates to: "Manuel Is Dishonest". Regardless of the controversy both artists earned cult status as time passed. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
