From the band's MySpace page: Behind the front line Audio Assault Team of Matt Holt, Mike Jett & Eli Brown is the tremendously advanced scientific organization: M-SQUAD, a.k.a. MUSHSQUAD. After years of intensive research, they came to the conclusion that much of the violence amongst mankind can be quelled by the proliferation of THC vapors and smoke . Wanting to promote peace , a group of the galaxy’s most brilliant minds have created a war machine that never kills people: It kills BRAIN CELLS. They built a vast army of soldiers, techno-bongs and vapo-rovers which are capable of fogging any area with “SMOKE” until the violent are stupefied into submission. Along with this armada of smoke-spewing soldiers, they developed the Audio Assault Team to herald the arrival of their thick haze. Various types of sounds were experimented with, but the maximum confusion was always achieved using the extremely loud sounds of psychedelic blues-based hard rock and heavy metal.
