M-Halo is electronic rock. Originally from the small town of Woodlake, CA, USA, M-Halo has been creating electronic rock since 1997. The latest album "The Side Roads of Janus" takes unreleased takes of tracks and places them alongside remixes originally developed for the originating album, "The Road of Janus". While the essence of the songs are there, there are some stark differences. A track like "Pushing Forwards (acoustic)" is framed within the sound of an acoustic guitar, but in its original incarnation, "Pushing Forwards" was firmly set to the landscape of synth-rock. On the other end of the spectrum, "Vivid", and its counterpart "Vividness", border on classic techo & electronica. Meanwhile, "Shine Alive" is pure electronic rock, but to counter it, "Shine Alive (Again and Again)" is set to strings and a calmer atmosphere.
