Constant recognized success has separated him from the pack. The 22nd Annual BMP Awards named M-Dot Boston's 2010 "Best Hip Hop Act" (An honor awarded to such hierarchy as Guru, Mr. Lif, Bell Biv Devoe, Akrobatik & other legends in years past). M-Dot, ranked in Stuff Magazine's 2009 Annual "Hot 100," is striving to out work everyone while never becoming complacent. In 2008 M-Dot Received "2 Dope 2 Sleep On" honors from one of the world biggest sites 2dopeboyz.com. He understands the importance of always growing as an mc, constantly challenging himself to make music for all audiences (not just stagnant to one genre). "M-Dot's Grinding his way in!" writing, recording, editing, producing, his own music (in his own professionally running studio that he built), booking over a hundred shows worldwide per year without a booking agent (he has been flown out to tour Europe, Canada, etc.), making his own flyers, creating his own web design, making major collaborations without a manager (Chino XL, Joel Ortiz, Masta Ace, Agallah of Dip Set, Gangstarr Foundation, keith murray & more), even executive producing his own videos.
