Mørke was founded in December 2020 by Lord Abhor (Kaleb Russell) as an experiment into heavier genres. This quickly became a passion as he journeyed deeper into the genre of black metal. Eventually recording the demo "Thou Shalt Die!" in mid-2021. A few more songs were recorded and released on the EP "Tempestas", released in early-2022. With more experience in the raw style of black metal. Abhor began recording the 2nd EP, "Raped From God's Faith" in mid-2022. It was released later in this timespan.
