(the Thing We Do EP is currently downloadable, and at your disposal - http://www.mediafire.com/?kjhjqzmbwai) M E A is a duo from Novi Sad, Serbia, most recently boiled down to its present form, after a couple of changes in the past. As a two-piece they worked together for some time during their school years a while ago. Out of this long-lasting friendship and the same passion for structure in sound the present duo was formed. With Dimitrije Jakovljević on piano, guitar, bass, laptop and vocals, and Ozren Lazić on percusssion, they created an array of dynamic, carefully-structured songs that reflect them having some nice time, most often after taking a listen to the LPs they've loved since the earliest days. In the summer of 2009 they self-recorded and mixed their first EP Thing We Do as a duo, in Dimitrije's small studio at his parents' house. Currently geographically split, with one member living in another country, they are searching for a suitable label, ready to publish their upcoming album.
