Lynda Lovett

Lynda Barnes Lovett, a composer of “new old standards”, is a classically trained pianist, who began playing the piano at age three and performing for large audiences at age eight. She majored in piano at Birmingham-Southern Conservatory of Music and was briefly an accompanist for the Washington D.C. Ballet. She began writing musical shows for groups in Bermuda, where she has resided since 1990. She has performed at the Bermuda Musical Festival and has written and published several CD’s, including “Never Say Goodbye”, “Party with No Fear” and “Christmas in Bermuda”, all of which are frequently played on local radio and some of which are available on iTunes and on other music-related websites.
