Lusthansa was a German New Wave (NDW - Neue Deutsche Welle) band, which was formed in 1981 in Trier, Germany. In 1982, the band was picked up by famed Boney M. producer Frank Farian and the first Single "Nix Neues in Poona" was released - two albums and six singles followed, all released by Hansa / Ariola in the German speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg). During the first three years of musical existence, the band performed over six hundred times (with some concerts lasting three to four hours).
