Melding elements of Rap, Rock, and Pop into one cohesive and melodic sound, upstate Connecticut, Philadelphia and New Jersey's Lunch Money Gang have diverse appeal based on their impressive musical dexterity. Often touring with indie rock and pop-punk bands, they don't fit comfortably into one specific genre; the quartet's music is rooted in traditional hip-hop, but features live instruments instead of looped samples or beats. Lyrics are often socially conscious, but also incorporate humor and wry perceptiveness. The band's roots date to early 2006 in Greensboro, NC, when Co-Founders Ralphy London and G-Wiz became friends with the help of a popular social network at the time, "MySpace" In early 2007. Wanting to create a new palette for hip-hop, the duo worked with other musicians before The "Lunch Money Gang" was officially born in 2008 with the addition of Ju'vone "Fonzie" Stocks and Producer Showdown. The guys self-released the first "The Lunch Money Project" that same year. Lunch Money Gang slowly built an online fan base, with the help of social networks such as Twitter and Facebook, which featured daily video, photo, and music diaries from the band. The "Lunch Money Gang" is a growing success! stay tuned for the "Happily Ever After" part of the Bio!
