about

There are multiple artists named Lunar Womb: 1) Lunar Womb was a dungeon synth project from Helsinki, Finland, initially a duo formed by Nepthunous aka Henri Sorvali (keyboards, percussion, guitar, vocals) and Athonian aka Ville Sorvali (percussion, keyboards, speech), founders of Moonsorrow. They released two demos, "Planets" in 1996 and "The Astral Grief" in 1997, both on Meat Hook Productions. Third demo "The Sleeping Green" (1999) was supposed to be catalog number MEAT17 but it was left unreleased. Henri remastered the demo in 2015 and made it available online in April 2016. 2) Lunar Womb was a stoner rock band from Petite-Rosselle, France, formed in the end of the 1990s. They released a demo titled "Raw Breed" in 1999. Members included Wolter Sven (vocals), Jan (guitars), Phil (bass), Jean-Louis Falchi (drums), and Dan Weisgerber (additional organ).
