Luke, I am your father, also known as LIAYF is a sextet hailing from Blumenau, Santa Catarina, Brazil. Starting officially in 2009 (after some rehearsals by the end of 2008), LIAYF made several line-up changes until they finally getting to the actual six-pack layout. The band is now formed by Lola and Roger on vocals, Swan and Bina on the guitars, Gustavo playing bass and Favella as the drummer. All 6 members had previously worked with other well-known bands in the local scenario. The style of the band is somewhat undefined between genres but very close at heart to post-hardcore, metalcore and trash metal and also flerting with hip-hop and 80’s synths. The band recorded their debut EP in 2009 entitled “The Chosen Ones” with 5 songs (http://bit.ly/nl3JY) and then recorded a sophmore EP in 2010 by the name of “Tight Trips” which was the first to have a physical media and also releasing two videos for the songs “Tight Trips” and “It’s Another Trap” contained in the EP. www.myspace.com/liayf User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
