Artist
LA native Luke Markinson is known for his bold pop hooks and high-energy songwriting. He first gained traction on Vine, where his original songs and covers quickly built a loyal fanbase. His debut single Never Alone landed on Charli XCX’s official Beats by Dr. Dre playlist, and Out the Bed was named "Best Track of the Week" by NYLON. Around then, he co-wrote My Heart Bleeds which earned millions of streams and spotlighted his early songwriting chops. In 2021, Luke collaborated with Tom Aspaul on Make Believe, landing on Spotify’s Hyperpop playlist, and with Rony Rex on Dead of Night, which hit #1 on Finland's house charts. He also teamed up with hyperpop artist Glitch Gum on tracks like We Matter and Extrovert. In 2023, his singles miss u on my phone and Study Abroad were picked up by KISS FM in the U.S., expanding his radio presence. Following the success of his breakout single Hit and Run, Luke opened for rapper Flo Milli, bringing his magnetic stage presence to new audiences. Markinson blends the emotional clarity of Troye Sivan, the boundary-pushing energy of Charli XCX, and the pop-forward flair of Kim Petras — a sound that’s made a statement in queer club culture.
