Luke Bower’s musical journey is a testament to the transformative power of faith and perseverance. Raised in South Texas with a family rooted in medicine and law, Bower initially kept his musical passion hidden. “No one really knew I was into music, even though I wrote my first song when I was five years old,” he confesses, describing his secret rendezvous with music as a personal communion with God. The turning point came during his college years at Baylor University, where Bower, studying finance, felt the pull of his musical dreams. A fortuitous encounter with a talent scout, sparked by an unintentionally public YouTube video, set him on his path. “He told me he thought I should be a Christian artist, went into detail about my life, things he shouldn’t have known. I thought maybe it was a scam,” Bower recalls, highlighting the providential nature of the conversation. Leaving behind the conventional path, and college, Bower embraced his calling as a Christian artist. But being home without his friends, without his brothers (he’s a triplet), left him feeling alone and isolated. “I was by myself every day working on songs. Loneliness led me to start second-guessing myself, start believing I’d thrown my life in the trash. One night, I was in my room, lower than I’d ever been.
