Ignacio Perez Meza ( Cosala , Sinaloa , Mexico , 1917 - Guasave , Sinaloa , Mexico , June 9 of 1981 ), better known as Luis Perez Meza del Campo Il Trovatore was a singer, actor and Mexican boxer. Luis Perez Meza, whose real name was Ignacio (changed it to a brother's untimely death) was born in Harrow, municipality of Cosala , Sinaloa . Las fuentes difieren en cuanto al día de nacimiento (mayo o julio de 1917) hijo de Zenón o Simón Pérez e Isabel Meza. Sources differ as to the day of birth (May-July 1917) or Simon son of Zeno and Isabel Perez Meza. En 1925 comenzó los estudios en Culiacán y entre 1931 y 1935 realizó sus primeras actuaciones formando parte del dúo "Chico y Nacho" con Francisco Anzures Parra .
