Luis appeared in the music scene when he was 15 years old. The famous Argentine composer and guitar player is one of the most world-renowned tango performers nowadays. Since he formed his first band in 1992, Luis has been solely playing pieces of his authorship. Borda’s music gave a crucial twist in modern tango concerts, a new impulse, and is considered by the international press to be a most significant advance and a unique motor of the Nouveau Tango movement. He has performed and recorded in multiple occasions. His concerts are celebrated among tango followers for their vitality, virtuosity and the strong interaction between musicians and public. Since 1996, Luis Borda lives and composes in the city of Munich, Germany. He performed in important spots such as: the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, in Czech Republic; the Carl Orff Concert Hall in Munich, Germany; Minoritensaal in Graz, Austria; the Singapore Municipal Theatre and the Rheingau Musik Festival in Germany.
