Lug-na is an alternative band from Rennes, Bretagne France. The story of Lug-na is one of impossible combinations : heart and spirit, the spontaneous and the thought over. Impossible but nonetheless assumed, these marriages between rock and pop are no less consummated when the tortured efficacy of Sigur Ros flirts with the fragile melancholy of Blonde Redhead and Radiohead. Lug-na is then in full ecstasy and depicts, under the eye of an aesthetic and technical Tim Burton, its own wild, dark and poetic picture. Precise and inspired, the band channels various influences, and masters its craziness in a unique, whole, and most of all, human sound. Neither angels nor bad boys but rather, merely human. Until now, Lug-na has been released one debute album called On a winter morning in a schoolyard in 2008.
