Luftbrucke (born Elia Mercanzin, 1973) is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Padua, northern Italy. After a ten-years experience as rock drummer, in 2002 he kicked-off his solo-project, creating and developing a low cost analog-digital creative environment in his own flat's privacy, spreading his works via free download. In 2007 Luftbrucke abandons classic album approach, producing and releasing single songs, temporarely collected by a constantly-in-progress EP, tentatively named "Forma mentis". "Forma mentis" can be seen as a log of current Luftbrucke's musical journey, tracking the drift towards full italian lyrics and towards an even more multifaceted way of composing, in terms of atmospheres and arrangements.
