As a son of german parents, Berger grows up in a small french village between two cultures. Starting piano lessons at the age of 4, some years later he composes his first songs. Later, he learns to play accordeon, guitar and other instruments. At the age of 16, he lives for one year in Panama and gets to know the latinamerican culture.
