Lucretia Hort is born January 29, 1951 in Grosii Tiblesului, Romania. Started singing at very young age. She studied her music career in Grosii Tiblesului and started paticipating at "Casa de Cultura" both as singer and dancer in 1966. Then in 1972 she was pre-selected for the "Floarea din gradina" competition in Baia Mare. She was succesful with the pre-selection and was through to the final. She sung amongst some very famous romanian folk singers such as Fratii Petreusi (Asamblu Tara Oasului), Sava Negreanu. With much success she had won the trophy "Floarea Din Gradina". In 1976 she had changed her lifestyle and made her last TV appearance. In 1977 She married Vasile Madaras and had 4 beautiful daughters.
