Luck By Chance is an alternative rock band from British Columbia, Canada, which has been active since 2021. The band began as a solo project of bandleader Charli Cossitt, but entered its modern form after the addition of vocalist Vira Karavaieva in 2024. The band's first "canon" album is 2024's The Birth of Charlie, with the two prior non-album singles "One Day" and "Time for a Change" also considered part of the modern outfit. Luck By Chance takes inspiration from bands such as Weezer, Ozma, and Green Day, and bandleader Charli Cossitt has summarized their sound as "power pop with extra power". The band most recent release is their 2025 self titled effort: "Luck by Chance".
