Lowprofile are a completely self managed punk rock band from Durban with 3 years worth of shows, 2 CD's, 2 national tours, and a jingle for South African radio legend Barney Simon's Tuks FM show under our belts. We have played Splashy Fen twice, been invited to play 4 consecutive Uprising festivals, and played countless club dates, house parties and skate/mx events in between. By choice, we are pretty fraggin' far from any kind of bandwagon but our varied musical influences (So-Cal, Metal, Indie, Ska and Reggae) come together in a neat little bag, nicely tied up with a South African flavour. At it's inception the band made a concious decision not to sing in put-on British or American accents and this still leaves us distinguishable from many other SA bands to this day.
