In the spring of 2004 around Brescia, Italy, Funk-electro Musical Addiction introduced twins Giorgi (bass) and Bonito (drums and sampler) to Yoky (vocal, guitar and keyboard). In the beginning, they started playing in different successful local bands (Bosquejo, Seymourfunk, etc). In 2005 Low Frequency Club created a musical project with a groovy sound, an electronic influence and a party style. Low Frequency Club mixes together classic funk like James Brown with dance, Jamiroquai with Chemical Brothers, disco, lounge and funkrock (Red Hot Chili Peppers). After their first demo, followed by lots of live shows, Low Frequency Club recorded Emotional Phunk (Quicksand Records, 2006). The band is now about to complete their first full-length recording, due out in Spring 2008 (Polka Dots).
