Lovers Ball was an indie-electronic-pop band from Nashville, Tennessee, USA, active from 2005 to 2010. In the summer of 2005, with just a couple of keyboards and their computers, founding members Marcel Patillo and Robert Klee Kim put their creative minds to task. Together, they quickly began writing and recording the first Lovers Ball songs that would subsequently appear on their first EP, "Welcome to Our Ballroom", released in November 2006. During the EP's first week of release, Marcel and Robert found themselves shipping their self-pressed CDs across the United States, to Japan, the UK and everywhere in between. In 2008, Lovers Ball added Joel Roderick and Nic Brooks to their lineup to continue their musical paths together, and released their final album, Memories Phase Out/Never Forget Details in January 2010. A sequel to Welcome to Our Ballroom, entitled Welcome to Our Ballroom: Finale, is also available and contains songs from the band's first release in addition to several other songs that Marcel and Robert wrote together, including April, Lovely, and Say Yes.
