Love Affair was an American melodic rock band with Wayne Cukras, Mike Hudak, Rich Spina, Wes Coolbaugh and John Zdravecky from Cleveland, Ohio, that was formed as Stairway in 1974. The band changed its name to Love Affair in 1976. Because of a disagreement, its record label released the second album under the shortened name L.A. In 1983, the band changed its name again, this time to Unknown Stranger, before changing back to Love Affair in the very late days prior to splitting up in 1984.
