Lourett Russell Grant was born In the state of New York USA. She was a classical trained pianist and a model. She collaborated with Atlantic Records Producer Silvio Tancredi who was the Italian consulates son. Lourett and Silvio wrote HOT TO TROT which became a hit single on National Airplay lists and entered onto the BILLBOARD CHART at #70 with a bullet. Lourett wore a black leather cowgirl costume which included guns and holsters. It enhanced the spectacle when she performed and it was in relation to her lyrics. The single was picked up by major labels WEA INTERNATIONAL and QUALITY RECORDS in Canada. She made appearances on Montreal T.V Feel Like Dancing ,Baby O in Acapulco Mexico and The Ice Palace in New York.
