1) Loup is a young french artist from Paris. Despite he's a wanker, he managed to record some great music in his bedroom and also play in a band - Les Rejetons - as lead guitar. His fans - particulary those from Marseille - are also very great. There are few more artists with the name: 2) LOUP is a new duo from two Lyon's activists - closely related to Grrrnd Zero and Gaffer Records. LOUP sounds like the perfect exemple of this new "made in France" generation in their search for the establishment of an other "experimental" french identity. They then unconsciensly shake things and leave the tradition behind... LOUP is a mix between free-jazz, drone and noise, captured in a voluntary, affirmed and exciting flux, which gave them the opportunity to support bands such as Rangda (Chris Corsano, Rick Bishop, Ben Chasny) and The Thing (Mats Gustafsson's trio) with Otomo Yoshihide. 3) loup is dale berning and ute kanngiesser - they sing and play different objects, instruments and toys (cello, guitar, malagash harp, glockenspiel, calimba, bells and bracelet) dale is a french/south african artist and musician based in london * her work includes live performance, sound installations, drawing, recording (field and other...), soundtracks for film and video * she is represented by takefloor, Tokyo * she has releases on Bo'Weavil Recordings, London, and flaü, Tokyo ute moves between music, performing arts and interactive design.
