Louis Anthony Rossmann (born November 19, 1988, in Staten Island, New York) is an American independent repair technician, YouTuber, and right-to-repair activist. He is the proprietor of Rossmann Repair Group, originally located in New York City and later relocated to Austin, Texas in 2023. Established in 2007, the repair shop specializes in logic board-level repairs for MacBooks. In addition to his repair endeavors, Rossmann is the founder of the Repair Preservation Group, a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the right to repair. On his YouTube channel, Rossmann shares repair videos as educational resources, often live streaming repair sessions. Beyond repairs, his channel features tutorials on various topics including life, business practices, real estate, and right-to-repair advocacy. Rossmann actively engages in campaigning for right-to-repair legislation, participating in efforts across multiple city and state legislatures. In August 2022, he announced his relocation to Austin, Texas, where he joined the tech independence organization FUTO.
