Lou Flute, a multi-instrumentalist has released a jazzy array of soulful, and easy listening joints. Originally from Los Angeles, CA, Lou started experimenting with percussive sounds at the age of 4 using toy boxes and a 60's round hamec pounding out rhythms with his dad's jazz buddies who would come over and jam on the piano. At the age of 6, Lou started playing at the Kennedy School of Music in Hollywood, CA where he studied the accordian and performed in several competitions winning his first in 1967 at the Ambassador Hotel. At age 10 he started playing the guitar, age 11 the flute, age13 the tenor sax. Lou would try to play just about anything that could make a musical tone. With the help and support of his parents, Edith and Louis Sr., Lou was able to perform at the Shrine Auditorium, The Music Center at the Dorothy Chandler Pavillion and concert competitions throughout California. In the late 70"s Lou performed with Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder and played the club circuit in Newport Beach. In the 80's Lou had a short stint with jingles for radio at KACE where he studied melodic choices for products and started producing his own music in the studio. Lou toured with Michael Trammell and Blest, a gospel group in Los Angeles and continued to study music with Bill Green, top woodwind player in the nation holding 1st seat at the academy awards and other huge televised events for over 20 years.
