Lost In Ashford is a screamo/hardcore band from northeastern Connecticut started in late 2004. After playing the school's pops night that year, they realized the potential that could be. After a few line-up changes, and a few new songs, LIA decided to sign with record label Sling Slang Records. It was under Sling Slang Records where their E.P., 'Love is War', was recorded. The demo consists of 5 songs. LIA parted ways with Sling Slang as of early 2006, and is now independently playing shows and going on tours around New England. They've recently shared the stage with many bands such as Verbana Darvell, Vanna, Signal the Escape, Therefore I Am, Francine, Four Letter Lie, and Emanuel. In 2007 LIA released 3 songs from a potentially upcoming album titled 'Go Wild in the Country.' The 3 known songs can be heard at their myspace. They are titled 'I Know How To Control This,' 'The thrill of a lifetime,' and 'The Waiting Game.'
