Los Troveros Criollos, one of the most significant groups in Peru’s Creole music. In their first phase as a duo (1952-1955), Jorge Pérez and Lucho Garland caused a sensation with their cheerful and lively music. Among their greatest hits were Yo la quería Patita, Carretas aquí es el Tono, Valsecito del Ayer, among others. In their second phase as a trio (1956-1960), Humberto Pejovés, Pepe Ladd, and Lucho Garland reached spectacular levels of quality and popularity. Some of their greatest hits included Luis Pardo, Rosa Té, Romance en la Parada, among others. In their third phase as a trio (1961-1962), Carlos García, Pepe Ladd, and Lucho Garland maintained their high level of quality, achieving major successes such as Noche de Amargura, Caricia, Gracia, among others.
