Artist
A surf / garage band from Peru, who had that characteristic early to mid-sixties guitar and farfisa sound that all fans of the genre like. Their albums mostly include cover versions of well known songs and in all they've released six albums and over thirty singles. Los Shain's were the best selling garage band from Peru in the 60's decade, they play extremely fast with loud screaming vocals - true wild style garage beat. The band was founded by Enrique "Pico" Ego Aguirre, had some different line ups, but the most powerful includes Gerardo Manuel Rojas on vocals and the Barreda brothers on bass and drums. Killer fuzztone guitars, wild screams, garage drums and powerful basslines, sometimes mod keyboards, both, Spanish and English lyrics.
