Los Poetas Acidos (The Acid Poets) is a Colombian Indie Rock band formed by three brothers (Rafael Escandón: guitar and vocals, David Escandón: Bass, Sergio Escandón: Drums) in 2005. The band sound has been influenced by 90's Grunge, Brit Rock, and Colombian folk music. Their lyrics are about deep feelings, and the relationship between people and the city, daily life, expressed in their energic tunes, and bittersweet melodies, bursting a lot of interesting sensatios in their live preformances. The concept of the band is a tribute to the work of all the people that have changed the curse of history through music, literature, arts, and poetry, such as Jimi Hendrix, Franz Kafka, John Lennon, Gandhi, Jesus Christ, Kurt Cobain, Edgar Allan Poe, among others.
