Artist
Los Náufragos is rock band from Argentina. They released their first single 'La Leyenda de Xanadú' in 1968. It featured 'Sutilmente a Susana' on the B-side. It only sold 616 copies. Despite their initial commercial failure, their record deal allowed them to put out another single in that same year, 'Eloise' / 'Vuelvo a Naufragar', produced by Francis Smith. Soon, DJs started playing the B-side, rather than the A-side and it eventually became a big hit. In 1969, their record label decided to use a few recordings by a different artist, Pajarito Zaguri for Los Náufragos' debut LP. Six of the tracks on the album were performed by Zaguri featuring López Ruiz's orchestra and the rest were Francis Smith productions performed by Los Náufragos. The record went on to sell almost a million copies. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
