about

C.J. Ramone's side project became his full-time gig after the Ramones called it quits. Los Gusanos' music is hard rock/metal, and is very different than the Ramones. The songs are great and should appeal to many Ramones fans. In Los Gusanos, C.J. dropped the surname Ramone and instead used his real last name of Ward. In March, 2000, Los Gusanos broke up. Among the reasons cited were record company problems, revolving drummers, and the departure of guitarist Ed Lynch. Los Gusanos were: C.J. Ward - guitar and vocals "Dirty" Ed Lynch - guitar "Big John" Chadwick - bass Adam (Griff) Griffin - drums Ex-members: Bo (Lefty) Matheson - drums Frank "Spanky" Saitta - drums Eric "Cochise" Arce - drums User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
