about

There are at least 2 bands using the name Los Cuchillos: 1)Los Cuchillos is a surf/garage band from San José, Costa Rica . They started in early 2006 in the house of a guy named Tony Greasy Boy (guitar and vocals). They started looking for a sound no too far away from classic rock n' roll and surf-rock, as other surf-bands worldwide their lyrics are related to the classic horror movies, vampires and such. Their biggest influences are artists such as: The Cramps, Dick Dale, Stray Cats. Later on, Karolina aka La Nena Zombie also joined the band and completed the zombie go-go party. The current lineup is: TONY Greasy Boy (guitar& vocals), Karolina La Nena Zombie (vocals), Melvin Rocker (bass) and Mortitz Cuchillo (drums). You can find more about los cuchillos in their official MySpace 2) Salsa band from Mexico, recorded at least one album in the late 1970's by the name of Salsa Mexicana!
