After working on many projects that saw him grow as a guitarist (Sal La Rocca Band, Fabrice Alleman, Chrystel Wautier...), Lorenzo Di Maio released a first solo album in 2016 on the Igloo label, a musical yin & yang and invitation to escape. At the root of 'Black Rainbow' is the desire to play with contrasts. The writing acts like an inner journey that leads to an ensemble of nuanced compositions. The sound is at times melancholic, at other times lighter, sketching out soundscapes that can be dark but always with a shard of light.
