Looking Glass Studios was a highly regarded developer of computer games during the 90's. Many of their games are featured in the gaming magazines "top games ever" and have recieved several awards. Some of their most widely known games where System Shock (1994), Thief (1998) and System Shock 2 (1999). Looking Glass Studios was closed down around the year 2000, but many of their former staff are now working at Irrational Games (Freedom Force (2001) and co-producer of System Shock 2 and maker of Bioshock which is the spiritual successor of the System Shock series) and Ion Storm (Deus Ex (2000) and Deus Ex 2 (2003)).
