Longroad formed in 2005 and contains of Bjørn Forthun, his brother Tore Forthun and Rune Newermann. As well as doing most of the writing, Bjørn sings and wields the guitar, while Tore and Rune are his backing vocals. Thei bigests hits are Sailed Away, I'm a Fool and their cover of Bjørn's former band, Lettøl's, Lonely. Bjørn's unique voice and amazing songwriting-talent is making it easy to compare him to artists like Paulo Nutini and James Blunt, altough he insists he'll rise above them both.
