Long Lost Sun Facebook Long Lost Sun are an electronic, alternative pop duo from the South East of England made up of Sarah Russell and Jethro East. Sarah originally comes from an acoustic folk/pop background whereas Jethro cut his production teeth in the dance world. They met and bonded over a mutual love for dark, emotive pop after Jethro spent weeks searching through thousands of online acts, looking for a new vocalist to collaborate with. Their inspiration comes from a broad range of artists including Lamb, Frou Frou, Bon Iver, Kate Bush and Massive Attack. Last year they remixed Owl City’s Umbrella Beach and have recently produced a version of his new single Alligator Sky. In January 2012 the band announced on their Facebook page that they would be no longer producing music, although Sarah would be continuing as a solo musician.
