London Branch

London Branch was a rac-band formed in South East London, UK, in the early 1980s. The band played their first set at Skunx in Islington (a London borough) as support for 4-Skins. The band met with approval from the right-wing audience and Ian Stuart Donaldson, singer in Skrewdriver, introduced himself to the new act. London Branch quickly became established as a support act and would routinely play with the 4-Skins, Skrewdriver, Combat 84, The Ovaltinees, Peter and the Wolf and The Die Hards, around London. With The Ovaltinees, London Branch got a contract to play as a regular act at London's The 100 Club. In 1982, London Branch, alongside many other white nationalist bands, were blacklisted in the UK (banned from sale), and they found themselves with few places willing to let them play. Despite this they went into the White Noise recording studio in 1983 and recorded a demo, which became their only record. The original vinyl 5-track demo EP was limited to 350 copies, but reproduced in 2008 by Autoproduction on CD, called "Demo 1983". All their demo tracks also appears on Panzerfaust's compilation Rock Against Communism - Volume One.
