Established 2008 from the Austrian capital of the macabre... After the break-up of his former band Sanguis et Cinis, Eve Evangel founded Lolita KompleX (with former Sanguis bandmate Dushi) in early 2008 to realize his idea of a Lolita fashion inspired, but independent Gothic Metal band. Already at the first shows Lolita KompleX succeeded in combining western and Japanese-inspired elements in a innovative, never seen before way. They are combining influences from a variety of genres, such as metal, goth, rock or even punk. Lyrics in English, Japanese, German and French, merge extravagant outfits and cha-rismatic performances to a total work of art, through which Lolita KompleX have already gained a loyal and steadily growing fan base.
