With rough beginnings in the Edinburgh Electro scene in the late 1990’s, Locum76 established himself as a producer with his sidekick Lazum. Their partnership was qualified by a release on the Seminal Emissions label in the summer of 2004 under the name of Humdrum. Influenced initially by 70’s funk as well as early hip hop Locum’s sound has been twisted through contemporary home-grown electronica to its current shape. Now going solo, Locum has recently had a track on Benbecula's Music Volume Three, watch this space for further developments.
