Locke: 1) Rapper from Spokane, WA. 2) Harrisburg, PA-based alternative rock band formed in 1999. The brainchild of Christian Chappell (guitar/vocals) and Matt Rockman (guitar), Locke went through many incarnations during its four-year run. Originally, the band featured Brian Wilson (bass) and Matt Shellenhamer (drums). The band went on hiatus in December, 2000, and reformed in mid-2001 with Chappell and Rockman performing as an acoustic duo. In 2002, Locke recorded a 4 song EP, uncanny, featuring a lineup which included Ryan Manning (bass) and Kenny Reiner (drums). Locke disbanded in 2003, shortly after Rockman and Manning left to form undetected.
